This Game is Sub-Par

There's not that much originality. This game feels like a robot chicken parody of SoR. From characters to the music.

-MUSIC: This game is on the level of SoR3 and Final Fight 3. Mellow, boring themes with only a couple of good tracks. The only good tracks in the game are Chinatown and Cruise Ship themes. Gone be the Variations of Attack of the Barbarian, what the game is greatly known for. And the classic themes.... a couple are brand new but this isn't a remake. It's a sequel. Classic tracks don't do justice for this isn't SoR 1 nor 2. And wtf is up with the choice of the classic boss theme for the Commissioner??? That was from SoR2 and it wasn't even a boss theme. Does not fit at all. Did ya'll just go down the list and add classic tracks to anyone??? If everyone agreed that SoR3 had the worst music in the series, why would you copy it's style? And let's not talk about the butchering of Shiva's theme............. this is not a romance game.....

-CHARACTERS: Is Adam and Mr. X's grandma going to be in SoR5? I mean seriously. We now have a 3rd set of female twins in the series. Where's the originality? First Yasha and Onihime. Then it was Mona and Lisa. Now it's snake lady twins. And what is going on with the biker men? You gave them boobs. Now they are biker grandmas. Who's bright idea was that? The hands in the pocket guy, the commissioner, and the police lady are the only good added new enemies. The only thing that makes the last boss hard is that you can't even run. So all he/she does (Annette Birkin lol) is run away to laugh and shoot you. Copying Mr. X is all you could think of?

-CONTROL: This is the only part this game excels in. Except you can't run nor roll. Even still, an old fangame for free has better replayability.

-EXTRA OPTIONS: you do know the old games don't look like the 'classic filter' at all right? The filter looks like you're looking at the screen with your eyeball 1 pixel away from it. Who thought this was a good idea?


OVERALL: This game does not live up to the quality of 1 and 2. It's hard to finish because of the boring, draining music. And it just feels like you kiddy-fied the game because it's now also on the NINTENDO platform. Mario and Kirby games have better music THAN THIS. So did that 198x game. Remember Me had great music. What the heck happened here???

Looks like he got the game in other ways to me, why would he post on Steam after all, he could post on reddit, or on the appropriate console forum. Yet he is here to... punish the devs with his venom, behind a coward profile of course (that tells a lot for one's personality).
So, worthless to read anything from a thief and troll, there's a separate place for reviews if I want to read valid reviews.
