Arcade creators get screwed, No support ipac or keyboard encoder for 4 player keyboard.
Everyone who owns/made a Mame Cabinet. just an FYI, this doesn't support 4 player keyboard encoders, only 1 player on keyboard. It only supports 4 player local on joystick/xbox controller
It's a bummer, I wanted to throw this on a mame cabinet. that's where alot of the purchases will be.

Doesnt work on mega drive/genesis style controllers either :(

So I had to use my xbox pad which is a huge shame

I don't know much about mame cabinets but couldn't you use something like joy2key to map out the controls?

I'm playing with a Six Button Genesis Controller as we speak.

I recently built one for four players and have been noticing this issue a lot with newer games. R-Type Dimensions EX was another game that let me down with pretty much non-existent controls options.

I played with the SEGA Saturn pad (Retrobit) and it was perfect.
Do you use the original one with an adapter? I'm interested 'cause I still have two SEGA arcade sticks and would like to try with those.

https://www.amazon.com/Retro-Bit-Official-Controller-8-Button-Raspberry/dp/B081NVZT3F/

This is the one I use specifically for it to those that might be curious. It does have a few extra buttons that I don't use. But it feels like a genuine controller from the Genesis.

It still uses my XBox One Controller for the Promps though, but reconfiguring the controls for the Sega Gamepad is still fairly easy to do.

Sorry for late reply

I'm using a wireless 8bitdo M30, along with the 8bitdo wireless reciever

Surprised it doesnt work because it has xinput and dinput but game doesnt even recognize a controller plugged in

Nice, at least we know Retrobit pads work fine!

Can you plug it via USB? Maybe this would work?

Is your M30 Bluetooth or 2.4GHz? My Bluetooth M30 works just fine wireless

Lazy coding - shame - would have bought this for my arcade cabinet but its no use to me if you need to break out a controller.....

the wireless retro bit Saturn pad is glorious for this game. If you set it to switch controls it works perfectly with the menu interface
does joytokey work with this? im having trouble so far

Are you sure you can't work something out with VJoy and x360ce?
