So Dotemu...Can we get a TMNT game using this engine?

There's so many old school Beat em ups I'd love to see redone in a modern 2d engine. But none more so than TMNT, there hasn't been a good TMNT game since Turtles in Time.

There's others I'd love to see make a comeback too, Golden Axe, Final Fight, but none more than TMNT.

Yes I know Nick owns TMNT, but Judging by the last 3 games, getting the license doesn't seem to be too difficult, but being that Dotemu is the publisher it would be up to them to seek out a license for a future game...and when you have an engine built around a very specific genre, you'd imagine they'd want to use it for more than one game.

I love TMNT but I would prefer they work on a Guardian Heroes remake.
That beat them all is IMO one of the best ever made.

That would be absolutely glorious...I'd be happy with a port of Guardian Heroes on PC. In a world where we are getting Panzer Dragoon, Streets of Rage 4, and a new Half Life I guess anything is possible.

I'm sure he knows. It's a license that just needs acquiring. It is up to Dotemu. It's not like Nickelodeon is enquiring around who wants to make a TMNT video game. It's up to developer/publishers to go after the licensing deal.
