Tried forcing the alpha demo into VR mode but no such luck.
Cut scenes would be a bit tricky to implement but imagine seeing it from the perspective of the character being seduced by Vydja in VR....wow
Would like Agony in VR also for the same reasons.
Happy to test this with the Rift CV1 if the devs are ever interested.
Might sound weird but I only clicked on this game because it was in the new tab and was checking to see if the full version would have VR support. I usually just stick to the VR ticker, unless I'm buy a game for my laptop.
I'm not sure your engine, but if its capable of VR out of the box, add it, your game will be added to a market of about 5 million people starving for decent games. Otherwise the effort might not pay off if you have to build it from scratch.
But I'll check this out if it ever comes across the VR ticker.
It can be done and not impossible. Does not have to come out on release but can come out later through an update or DLC. It all depends on their game engine they are building it on but it is very possible. Unity and unreal are getting better at implementing VR so the only thing that needs to get worked on is how it is viewed in VR which sometimes can be complicated. I am for VR support but not as a requirement.
Yes the engine (UE4) supports VR, but it would be impossible to play because of the gameplay.
How would it be impossible to play because of the gameplay? The game would stay the same for screen mode and for VR it can be adjusted to suit VR. VR is not their priority but it can be added later on. There is no need to make another game. Not all VR games use motion controls and there are VR games that you can use a game controller instead. Doom VFR allows you to use a game controller for example. VR support is just simply a request and that is all we are asking. Anyways I wish the developer success.
You have just porn VR games, so you have absolutely no idea of VR gameplay.
Doom VFR is a standalone game and has a complete different gameplay, made for VR.
No real VR player wants to play a game with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gamepad.
And how do you want to play Succubus with a HMD, I have one of the strongest RTX 2080 Ti cards and the game has FPS problems in 4k, so it would never run smooth in VR.
A VR Succubus game should look like this:
- less and slower enemies
- total different fighting mechaniks (maybe like Blade and Sorcery)
- smaller better optimized levels
@Devs: Yes I'm also for a VR game in the Agony universe, but don't waste time for a VR mode what will never make fun.
Finish The game, take the assets and make a own VR game with gameplay made for VR.
