Whenever I want to install the game I get the error message “Content still encrypted”, how can I fix or “decrypt” the problem?

File System Format (NTFS? Compressed NTFS? Encrypted File System (Bitlocker?) ... or maybe just a corrupt download on a corrupt hard drive ... or corrupt memory, with a corrupt checksum.

Steam is downloading the game to your PC in encrypted (and compressed) form. Only then it is running an automated script to decrypt and decompress the files and writing them unto your PC.

1. Run Steam as Administrator and try again
2. Check this website's (chatbot?) comprehensive article. It lists several known methods, which may help.

Some people on Steam forums say, it is just as easy as to delete the game's appmanifest file and re-download the game again.
