It is possible to have higher than 95% efficiency?

In any scenario or only in no.15 ?

Getting 100% is almost impossible, but i manage to get it in a custom map.

Only question will you ever be able to get 100% in any scenario?

I wonder if turning your ingredient assembly so that loading arm does a left turn to load instead of a full turn changes the energy usage... Which would then make that solution all the sillier for being at 100% efficiency.

I've been optimising "Doubling Down" to try to see what's possible and I think those last few % points are going to be super-hard-to-get.

I got down to $47250/28 machines using 863Wh - all dishes served/no waste - 93% efficient.

I then "sort of cheated" and turned-off the grille when there wasn't a HotDog order pending - that could have caused waste but it actually didn't and saved about 80Wh BUT that didn't gain any effectiveness at all (and that's a fair power saving!)

Ideally there would be a 100% for every level - perhaps there are cleverer machines later (I'm only a few levels in) - no harm in learning how to pack everything in tight tho!

I even got the energy lower but still no difference

Energy is not your biggest enemy to getting max efficiency, it all about not having wasted ingredients.

Assuming you have Order Readers controlling what's dispensed, how could you have waste (unless something burns)???

Looking at my setup, the game seems to consider the fact I start the 21st order (as the 20th hasn't been delivered at that point) as 'waste'?

That seems a bit retarded - I assume there are 'counting machines' further into the game which allow you to shut-off a machine at a given point??

As soon as the dispenser create the goods, it considered used ingredients.

There's also handling future orders, eg by the time your 50th order is ready to be delivered, the machines have already dispensed ingredients for 51st and 52nd.

Min-maxing on the energy to see how far and how low I can go while still getting 100%

Yep, so when we get to the levels further down the line with computers it will be much easier to not overproduce ingredients.

Whoever thought that was a good idea should not be in game design IMO

Esp as you don't have the tools to do anything about it at the point this level appears

I like what this game is trying to do but they seem to have looked at the Zachtronics games and missed a lot of what makes them amazing

Those games are open in their mechanics and they allow players to compare their stats etc. wheras here they just show stats have some 'obscured' scoring system which isn't half as clever or satisfying...

Hey ho
