Hmm looks like a controller game. I watched out some esports events. All are driving with controller.

You can set this thing up with a steering wheel, if its anything like RIDE 3, using x360ce but the original calibrations within the game are designed for a gamepad. Inevitably you will struggle to dial in your steering wheel perfectly..deadzones and steering input saturations etc.

The game that responds much better for me when using a steering wheel, on pc, xbox one and PS4 is TT IOM. But you will need a CronusMax device to try this on the consoles.. I tried to achieve the same results across platforms with motogp 18 and failed. Others may have had more luck on pc maybe with motogp 18?

I use my Fanatec for Motogp18 and Ride3 using x360ce.
Set the wheel to 110 degrees, you can remove the deadzone and set up saturation as a line or curve etc. You can also add the rumble if you want it.
I simply cannot understand muppets who prefer a controller over being able to tilt on an axis that's the same as the bikes.
It's far more intuitive and fun :)

p.s. Bitesized lol'd hard primarily due to a lack of imagination and ingenuity. He didn't think it through and too stupid/stubborn to accept it and actually try it ;)

I don't need to try it, i don't need a steering wheel to play a motorcycle game.

No, you need buttons and tiny levers.

Just like a real motorcycle -.-

It has nothing at all to do with riding in real life. I have been riding motorcycles for 25+ years. Trust me that's an argument you will lose. It's like putting tomato sauce on toast, sure you can do it but why the f*&^ would you.

I've ridden nearly everything over 4 decades . Had to hang it up . I too got a chuckle out of the wheel comment .

I've ridden bikes for 36 years, and tilting the wheel 55 degrees feels far more intuitive.
You should try it and you'll be surprised. Forget it's a wheel, you're only tilting it.

Thanks and interesting this is for sure . I'd try but recently rid of my wheel & pedal setup .

me and a friend: joystick.
lean left - bike lean left etc..
fine tune your leaning angle..
works since sbk2001 and every skb and motogp game after that :)

To be clear, this works with a joystick? I have an X56 Rhino. I also have an X-box controller, from my Oculus Rift, but I have no idea if that could work? Worst case, I have an old generic gamepad controller, but would prefer to use my joystick above all.

@Martin (?"leaning" is not in my game/device vocabulary?) : For my Logitech Extreme 3D PRO to work nicely with MXGP (uncontrollable at first), I had to setup throttle to its natural control, it was set to stick's Y-axis by default ? and steering (was on X-axis) to Z-axis (would be rudder/yaw on a plane). Parting throttle and steering to independent controls makes it much easier to acquire the reflexes. Also, Z-axis is way better precision-wise than Y-axis. I started to win at easy as soon as I did that, with the feeling it gave me room to get much better with practice! I still have to work out how to best setup front and rear brakes, eventually gear and clutch too, beyond single shift up/down.
I also want to note that my stick is very stiff, where pushing and tilting for speed and steering becomes a pain, the twisting spring is less tiresome then the tilt, and the Logitech's throttle has no spring to fight against.
