I'm assuming you're talking about moto3, but a 1:50 is not that fast, especially not for the hardest difficulty. The time trial record is a 1:48:3 so the AI can most surely be beaten.
But the problem is that it's not realistic. I speak about the AI's progression during the race week-end. They are faster and faster after all sessions. But also faster in race. Faster than the qualifications and this is absurd.
Just look at the real times that Moto 3, Moto 2 or Moto GP pilots make in real life. With the soft tyres in qualifications they are absolutely flying whereas they ride 1 or 2 s slower during the race.
Just to explain, a youtuber called Robo 46 makes videos about Moto GP 19 Career mode. I watched some of his videos and something just surprised me. I play with the same race options, difficulties, no assists, no flashbacks..... So why the AI in his game is riding a 2min19s lap in Sepang and mine 2min16s ?
In career you have to develop your bike, including the engine, over the course of the season. It starts off weaker than the rest of the grid, it's not a bug, but a "feature" - was the same in MotoGP 18.
What do you want to do with that ???
So, again, lower the difficulty and the IA will drive slower times..
This game has a steep learning curve, there is no shame in starting out on a lower difficulty. Just ramp it up when you consistently win. And to add realism, you can lower the difficulty up until the point the AI does lap times that are in line with reality.
So I will not low the difficulty.
I was just reminding what you said before. AI is not so fast comparing to time trial records.
AI in Mugello was 1s faster than time trial record on this track.
But I'm definitely not the best player on this game. So I'm not able to set a world record on each track.
It's just again a problem of dizziness. I'm 1.5 s faster than the AI in Assen, 2 s faster in Valencia.
Just a slug in Sachsenring, Mugello, Brno.....
Imagine if Marquez, absolute rocket at Austin, Sachsenring or Aragon, was behing Abraham or Syahrin on other tracks.
