Brake problem
Hi,
after a day to play with this motogp19, brake is a real problem. i play with xboxone controller.
brake distance is very huge. no feel no vibration in gamepad.
even with a long distance of brake or a full brake i'm out of track.
Brake was good in motogp17 and 18, and now is a real problem.
Please, add sensation and vibration in brake. make a realistic brake distance.
(i've test different brake size and still same problem, EB=4, assist=OFF, brake AV+AR = OFF)
don't tell me brake assist is a requirement.
Thanks to fix this problem.

-- edit --
with brake AV+AR= ON, large disk size, long brake distance is still mandatory.
But, absolutly no feeling no vibration. poor sensation with brake.

-- edit 1 --
in fact, Brake AV+AR= ON = Full front brake but rear brake = 1 / 5 : why ?

-- edit 2 --
in fact, physics are really different.
And, for a full brake, we can use front brake button and rear brake button, in straight line before corner.

You're right. I also felt the same problem. There's something wrong with the brakes. The handle lacks vibration feedback.

Braking is unbelievably poorly implemented. Brake pads made of butter.

I completely agree, even the steering is so much slower than previous games

I agree as well. The steering feels mushy, and the brakes are too weak and the braking distance is much longer than previous games.

The brakes are hot garbage, as is the gearbox

The braking is more realistic imo. They're much more different than the previous games. The gear box on the other hand... wtf Milestone.

Its not the brake distance itself a problem IMO. The braking points and distance are similar to real life.
If you notice how slowlny the front suspension is compressing, you may start to think that the input delay is quite long. So once you press the trigger the full brake power comes much later.
I also think the lack of instability under braking and that rear wheel is always on the ground gives a feeling the brakes are weak.

If there is engine braking active in ECU, it is better.

Well glad to know I'm not alone. Bought this Game earlier today, currently playing on Hard 80% as a starter. I'm blowing them away on the Straight, but under Braking I'm getting creamed. Would like to increase the difficulty, but would totally be a waste of time due to the Brakes.

Either the Brakes need to be patched, or the AI should be.

Honda has a better braking effect in the game.

This is really annoying! I drove the Sachsenring in RFactor 2. Very precise, very clear how to break for each curve. Even with cars with bad brakes, you easily can identify the break points and achieve a reliable result.

Now I played the first time a motogp title and tried the Sachsenring... well... I am totally demotivated.

First bad thing was missing support for racing wheels. Ok, I bought the actual XBox controller in the hope of a doable gameplay.

Then I got annoyed again:
There is quite no feeling for speed and braking in the game!
The feeling for speed is totally lost, I speed up to more than 200km/h and haven't noticed it, because speed is not "feelable".
Then I break.... and it seems, quite nothing important happens.

I drove now about 10 times the cirquit and have not achieved ONE single run, where I am not in the sand.....

The price is far too high for such a bad game.
