I use x360ce for it also.
Put it in your Motogp19\Binaries\Win64 folder and run it once.
Hello Timbo and Martin77. Thank you so much for taking your time and posting this information. This is going to help me a lot. I just couldn't play this game without your help.
Y axis forward for throttle and backwards for front brake.
you can fine tune the throttle to prevent wheelies very well.
X axis is lean right/ left, the thumb stick up is for gear up, down for gear down.
the 2 buttons on the bottom, button 6 is rear brake and button 7 were tuck in on the older games.
You idiot!
Do you really think I use a joystick so I'm faster than other people?
I use it because I've been doing this for years.
There were no other controllers than the first Milestone motorcycle game appeared in 2000.
Every year I could use almost the same settings, and believe me, it works better than you might expect.
if you want to use a controller then do it but don't defame other people
I have the same stick as you and runs fine since i discovered the 360 thing.
after you installed the 360 dont forget to run it once and close it before you start the game.
make sure that you unchecked all controller settings in steam properties -> controller
dont use target or steam controller emulator.
All you need is the 360ce file, copy it to motogp19\motogp19\binaries\win64.
Make sure you use the x360ce_x64.exe for a 64 bit system.
run it once and move your stick a bit to make sure it isa recognise.
close the program without any inputs.
run motogp19 and go to controllers and make your configuration.
stick forward: throttle
stick backward: front brake
left/right/: left/right
♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hat up: gear up

Thanks for your settings.
