PC joystick
I have the Thrustmaster T.16000m. I searched and it seams like MotoGP 19 does not support a joystick? If this is the case how can they say physics and realism. Push a button to lean?

Has anyone found away to get a joystick to work? Example, use the joystick to control how far you lean. Use the slider for the throttle. Etc.

Using a joystick is not hard to setup using x360ce. I prefer to use a steering wheel. I've tested a cheap joystick also, and it felt good. I just couldn't be as precise with the throttle. You can learn how to setup your joystick with x360ce from the video in this thread.... https://steamcommunity.com/app/984780/discussions/0/1639787494960254184/

I play with T16000m currently and works perfect.
I use x360ce for it also.

Put it in your Motogp19\Binaries\Win64 folder and run it once.

Hello Timbo and Martin77. Thank you so much for taking your time and posting this information. This is going to help me a lot. I just couldn't play this game without your help.

I am trying to learn how to adjust the settings now. I am wondering if it is possible to make the slider on the joystick the throttle control. I have been messing around with the settings and messing things up. At the moment the joystick doesn't have any control with in the game again. At the moment I am trying just to go back to when I cold lean left and right.

I use the joystick y-axis forward as throttle control and the y-axis backward as brake-control, and the x-axis for lean, left and right. It works on this game and Ride3, but you will need some practice to get used to it.

I use xbox One controller, and it’s the best I’ve used so far

I have similar to kriller2 for my T16000m
Y axis forward for throttle and backwards for front brake.
you can fine tune the throttle to prevent wheelies very well.

X axis is lean right/ left, the thumb stick up is for gear up, down for gear down.
the 2 buttons on the bottom, button 6 is rear brake and button 7 were tuck in on the older games.

use a xbox controller its ALL fine and dandy with this game ... the movements are just perfect ... those who wanna use a flighstick or a wheel for this game I simply WIL NEVER understand it ..... there is SIMPLY NO USE or any FASTER racing times using these equipments.... if you cant hit a football playing soccer and wanna use a stick..maybe you should ask your mon to attend a Hockey game instead of participating in a soccergame with no sticks to shoot a ball,,,,,thats very obvious in real life they would tell u same as in here ... :D .... im amazed that if people ask same lame stuff in real life u are seen as an idiot and people start rol leys...but on this everyone can have strangest issues and noone blinks and eye at it .... what a wonderfull dumb world really :D just adapt the planet we simply have to :D

get this instead then :D

You idiot!
Do you really think I use a joystick so I'm faster than other people?
I use it because I've been doing this for years.
There were no other controllers than the first Milestone motorcycle game appeared in 2000.
Every year I could use almost the same settings, and believe me, it works better than you might expect.

if you want to use a controller then do it but don't defame other people

Well, I'm back. I hope you guys might read this. The T1600m joystick was somewhat working until I ran the x360ce again. Now the joystick isn't recognized again. I deleted the files that were generated by the x360ce then ran the program again. This time I made some binding changes. Now MotoGP 2019 crashes after about 30 seconds. So I uninstalled everything. Uninstalled MotoGP and x360ce. I reinstalled them and went through the process of running the x360ce again but this time I didn't change anything, just saved them the same way I did the first time and worked. The game still crashes. If I delete the files that were generated by x360ce then MotoGP 2019 runs just fine. I'm stumped. Any thoughts?

do you use the TARGET software?
I have the same stick as you and runs fine since i discovered the 360 thing.

after you installed the 360 dont forget to run it once and close it before you start the game.

make sure that you unchecked all controller settings in steam properties -> controller

My problem I think is that I ran it twice. The second time is when I screwed it up. To fix it I uninstalled both the game and 360. then reinstalled and followed the instructions I used the first time. The ones you pointed out. I tried to use TARGET but the sticks nott even recognized then. You would think if I did a ccomplete uninstall that would fix it.
martin77 Nov 16, 2019 @ 1:18am
If you use target your controller become a different ID.
dont use target or steam controller emulator.

All you need is the 360ce file, copy it to motogp19\motogp19\binaries\win64.
Make sure you use the x360ce_x64.exe for a 64 bit system.

run it once and move your stick a bit to make sure it isa recognise.
close the program without any inputs.

run motogp19 and go to controllers and make your configuration.
