Actually, all UI screens were improved, and are of course all consistent in terms of style. Some changed more than others. The Diplomacy UI for example will see a bit more radical changes.
Just a little catch on the new interface, if you look closely at the "Leader" button it was redesigned and the text alignment is now odd, should be right instead of center.
Since the worlds are now handcrafted, do you have an idea how many per biomes there is for diversity? It would be nice if you could share gif of them, looks like there is a blizzard and ships flying around!
Yes, there are environmental effects! Blizzards in the Icy biome, sand storms in the Desert biome, volcanos in the Lava world, etc. There's also ships passing by. As for the number of biomes, we have 7 biomes total at the moment: Barren, Icy, Desert, Terran, Swamp, Acid and Lava. We expect the placement of buildings to be somewhat random (still to be decided). As for each individual biome it will have basically the same look (think Heroes of Might & Magic).
