how can i upgrade my current ships?
i've tried to upgrade ships which i have in current and cant, is it possible to upgrade ships to newer models?

Hi,

to upgrade your ships to newer designs you need to have an orbital station (example: a Star Base) built in a colony. In that colony you can then refit (upgrade) your ships by clicking in the "Refit" button in the colony view. Then you can choose which design to upgrade your ship to.
