There is no end to this game....The game is endless and you can build....Build cities
I'm up to my eyeballs in robots, thanks.
I listened to two developers on a video about mining and when the topic of future plans came up they were very evasive.
I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about future plans.
I expect a DLC to be offed at a price that will take the game in a new direction:
Maybe...
1. use the robots to populate another planet
2. use the robots as an army to fight
3. robots build a new city
What ever they decide it will probably cost more money.
They just need to push the modular building concept some more , even go back and redo some of the gameplay. I would love to see all the buildings you build/use be modular. Modular Smelters , Modular Assemblers , Modular Power and more importantly a Modular Research Building. Each getting upgrades as you research....that way they can move away from Factorio and its science pack approach to research and have their own cool identity.
But If I am being honest , I think they are just after trickle down sales from the more popular and well designed Factory games that exist already and hoping to entice people with familiarity then actual fresh new game play.
To be clear i like the game.
I just hope they expand it beyond selling new and use cars
Do you want to know what the plans are? - It's best to ask the developers.
Everything else is and remains speculation.
I have been waiting for 1.0
I may go back a see what they remains.
