Freight Elevator Capacity
Is the freight elevator designed to only accept one line? If I add another to top and bottom, it simply splits the flow and stop/starts the loading process. e.g. adding more lines doesn't increase my ore output up top no matter how much I mine below. Intentional? Bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

Hover over the item in crafting (or inventory) and it should tell you.

Think it's 320 items for the first one, and 640 for the next one.

No matter how many lines you put in; it can't go above that.

I missed that entirely. Thanks.

It can handle 2 full belts in one direction. It can also send 1 type of item up and another kind of item down. This was more useful in old itch version, where one had to send rail sections down to underground miners while also lifting mined ore up.

I think the capacity is too low for it's size/footprint. It's massive. It should be able to handle 4 belts of the same tier simultaneously. I would even suggest 8 belts of the same tier. 4 Up, 4 Down. But 4 would be okay for me too.

Perhaps some extra researches on it ... pretty please?

The freight elevator does get upgrades, it's just that they're keeping pace with the belt upgrades.

Exactly. Even at T2 or T3 it still can only handle 2x T2 or 2x T3 belts.

that would actually be super nice, heck it'd be nice if it was matched to the loaders themselves even of a full 1200 so we could have multiple full belts going in and out.

Almost makes me wonder why there's so many ports for the loaders when it's not like they can handle the throughput of more than one anyways.

Agreed.
They should be either smaller, or faster.
Right now having 4 inputs on 2 sides doesn't make sense, as you can input and output only 1 line. 2x2 elevator would be more than enough. I can live with 3x2 or 3x3 tops. 4x3 is too much for this speed.

There is a mod for this in DoundeyModManger. I have not turned on that 'tweak' yet.. I did increase all my stack sizes. I am ok getting one full tier 2 belt from my elevator for now. Until I get the fracking fluid unlocked,.doing faster transfers just depletes the node faster.
