infinite mining?

is there no option for infinite mining a ore? i played 2 hours and i noticed the ores are not infinite so, it means if its gone i have to place my whole factory somewhere else? or did i miss something?

adding an infinite setting doesn't hurt/take away from anyone its just there if the player wants it.

I absolutely agree that choice is good. That way people can play how they want.

I'm sure a mod will be forthcoming to do this at some point.

Seems people just want the ore , to be endless. Creative is the opposite of that in many respects. Not sure if you understand that?

I think finite ores works in games like Factorio where you have a birdseye view - not so much in games like this.

You get a jet pack and zip belts, it's really easy.
All the infinite nodes are over 1km away from my base but it takes next to no time to connect.
Even digging giant holes to get to the ores takes no time when you have explosives.
