Personally I want to start in a pretty pine forest biome next to a lake. I'm currently spamming new games to find one lmao.

Love to share a seed, but in 5 games they just seem to get worse, all mountains.

All the starting spots are very similar. That ore will run out quickly. Seed 1000 has lots of ore fields close by so you can connect your existing start site. There's even water close! I'm in early game but the main ores in this seed are close by and are plentiful here.

A really good seed is 1000.
Normal starting ores but really big building area and not far to the west (approx 250 or so), are 3 more Xenoferrite ore and 3 more Technum ore and even an Ignium.
Check it out and follow up if you like it or found even better!

1253775480 has the two ores right next to each other at the landing spot. Closest water is the spot NE, 180 meters. The other location is behind mountains.

I don't know that is a "good" or "great" seed .. but it does have varied biomes and I like the creativity in coming up with the actual seed, so I am playing it now. It is not particularly flat or open, but there are resources and water, lots of biomass (huge forests with very large trees in the immediate vicinity). I did just a little bit of scouting and scanning:

Done some more Scouting, its a pretty good Seed. Olumite is close by, only Ingnium is a bit Far Away. There are some big Mountains but you can Build towars North without bigger Foligae Problems :

I like the devil's seed 666 :) Start is in a nice flat area with technum and xeno nodes very close to each other. Plenty of trees around for the initial energy production.

How about this? Seed 151152. On my first run i ran out of igneum for fuel, so tried to find some seeds with more igneum, and found this one with 5 igneum somewhat close to starting base, and also quite a lot of xeno,tech.
