A lot time they are doing something unique enough to be more spiritual successor than a "Ripoff"...
Which, if you want to, could say was a ripoff of Infiniminer :P
An open source multiplayer block based sandbox building and digging game in a procedurally generated world that directly inspired Minecraft. The original fortresscraft also came out before minecraft and it's mods.
Infiniminer not even close dude XD
Sure but they don't do much, in any case, reskin and tweaks numbers is not exactly they are doing something "unique", in that case is a mod XD
How Much, in your mind does the game have to be different to be it's own thing?
Techtonica is another this is the gerne, and it's a lot like Satisfcatory mixed with Factorio, while also doing it's own thing with threshers and planters I've not seen with other games.... where you you draw this line?
