What to do with dirt ?

I have a lot of dirt, what can I do with it ?

I use it to backfill when I finish an ore patch. But you don't need alot of it. I delete most of mine. Keep several stacks in a container.

more often then not I just delete it

Same, I just make 1 small container fill it for refilling when I need and then I just delete the rest, use explosives to dig so I don't have so much in my inventory to have to delete :)

If you hold ctrl and move it to the delete it deletes all of what's in you inventory, not just what's in your hand.

You need dirt to plant stuff. Make new fields.

And I've seen players doing an "Excess Dirt Heap" ... practically a tower being a monument to your digging performance. But choose the place wisely or you may end up digging it up a 2nd time.
