[Suggestion] Ship transport improvements
I'm slowly getting through the yellow science level of stuff and starting to build out than just a bus build. Working out the ship transports and Feel there should be a drop-down of the drop of points so you don't need to remember the name exactly as annoying if you don't remember them exactly and have to fly back miles to get the name again.

Also to add to this The throughput seems worse than belts so now my factory seems to just be waiting on resources being delivered but once delivered uses them up too quickly and wish i just ran long belts instead...

If your cargo ships aren't providing enough throughput you need to simply add more ships for that belt.

I'm finding that cargo ships are like a worse version of conveyors and containers, as others seem to have already discovered. A conveyor belt runs at 160/320/640 full time. A cargo ship runs at 160/320/640, but with flying time in between. And it's the ship itself that acts as the container, so it's not like you could even buffer items into the pad, pick them up quickly, fly over drop them off quickly, then fly back for more. Conveyors are the superior option right now unfortunately.

What? just put few logistic containers and make this:
pad -> loader(out) -> belt -> loader(in) -> container -> loader(out)

and you have as much buffer as you might need...

If you use it faster than you can deliver it, then add more pads feeding the same buffer.

Making 5km long belt across mountains and valleys is a serious CHORE.

Instead plonk pads to both ends, plonk some power (solar) to the mine end and you're done -> next thing.

Most of my outposts are about 2.5km-3.5km from my main....and a couple are 4+km out. I dislike the size and lack of storage in the cargo ships, and they are too slow, but they do "work" if you buffer them so that you can load them as fast as possible...and add multiple pads when needed. My electronic parts are almost 1500/min and the ships are keeping up fine. Of course, I'm up to 4 pads on each side now, which is a pain to build, depending on the terrain. They definitely need a buff.

Yes, you can buffer into a logistics container, but loading into the cargo ship can only happen at 160/320/640, rather than loading everything instantly onto the ship when it lands so it can take off again right away. Then when unloading from the ship into your container on the target end can only go at 160/320/640. Cargo ships are drastically slower than simply having a very long belt. That's just math, unfortunately.

Yep. I have large containers on each end, and T3 conveyors between the containers and the cargo/target pads, but it's still simply too slow to be a viable solution.
