How do you know when you need a pump?
https://steamcommunity.com/app/983870/discussions/0/4362375983952450312/
but it really didn't explain it, but a lot of people said they went like 400 to 600 meters with no issues on throughput... someone going to test this at some point, for now basically add a pump if you start having issues with it.
I would like a freight elevator type option for liquids that doesn't require me digging and placing long runs of vertical pipes but that doesn't exist so I will make do and make long ass pipes if I must.
Thanks everyone ;)
(I'm assuming freight elevators are large batch cargo movers? I haven't gotten there yet.)
Going up is pretty easy. Clear a path from top to bottom then stand on the pipe or block when you place it. You automatically get bumped in the air and can quickly go up even very long distances.
A freight elevator is basically a vertical belt that you place the top and bottom pieces of and it magically bridges them together at any height. It is very handy for solids and I would love an option for pipes to work like this vertically.
