Connection multiplayer with Steam Deck
Hello together,

Does anyone got the steam deck oled online function with Foundry working?

Single player and hosting is working fine until someone tries to connect.

If I connect, the loading screen "send joining request" stuck and I join somehow the game for my friend. He sees me on the playfield but after a few seconds I disconnect.

If I host they see my server and can connect until the savegame needs to be transfered. Then the game crashes for me.

Thanks in advance!

You do realize that the game is not even steam deck verified. So I'm sure there are some issues.

Maybe there is someone who got this problem and solved it.
Anyway thank you for the info! :)

I have the same issue. The connection seems to time out! It used to work a few days after release of early access. Now it stopped connecting.

As a developer (not this game), I can tell you that “not verified” means just that. Steam/Valve simply did not yet test it.
I spend days and weeks testing my game, yet they are not reviewing it as there is no way for non AAA studies to get it pushed up the queue.
Further, even if verified, I as a gamer, noticed its often not great to play either…

Will grab Foundry next and give it a try.

so far Foundry works pretty good, just has slight issues late game when you have to type thing in bringing up the keyboard on screen hitches , ive put this deck on its knees with how my base is going , downside at my situation is i have to stay charging ,and keep autosaves at 5mins is a blessing as I crash the system.
