Placing the freight elevator with no jetpack

Hello, I am trying to place the freight elevator. I have no problem placing the bottom but I have to run up the stares all the way to the top and when I get there I try to place the top half and I get the error message that there is not enough freight elevator in inventory, or something like that. Is anyone else having this issue? How did you fix it? My jet pack is locked behind other researches that are not yet complete

The Freight Elevator the top and bottom are separate parts so you need 2 of them in your inventory. unlike the Player Elevator where you can create floors in the control panel
Make a 2nd, Hold the RMB to switch to the top part.
They Stack in 10s so one stack is 5 complete Freight Elevators, where as the player elevator 1 item per slot.

Thank you Fenix. I've done as you said and I have both pieces in place. Thank you. However, the conveyors don't appear to be loading. I have two intake loaders at the bottom and two output loaders at the top and I have power connected via foundations but nothing is moving on the conveyors attached at each end. What am I missing?

Double check the the bottom loader have a foundation with power under the loaders at the bottom, that is the only thing I can think of that would stop the loaders to work.

Thanks again. I just noticed that the blue upright color bars that appear when you place the freight elevator are still there. In videos I've seen once it is place they go away. Any idea why mine remain?

I just noticed that some of the blue bars were intersecting my stairs going down to the mine. Once I deleted those stair section it then built the freight elevator shaft and ore started flowing. Thanks again

yeah if something is in between them they won't build... a rock or plant included.

Elevators actually remove plain dirt and rocks between top and bottom parts. They don't remove ores or constructions.

Plants and rocks will stop player elevators from building, you have drill/laser them for the elevator to continue building.
The Player elevator will warn you if one is in the way (granted this is only going down, as going up will just destroy the ground under them and destroy them)
