Via logistics container. 1st belt->Loader->Container->Loader->2nd belt.

the conveyor balancer, it can work to balance, split, or merge and has input and output priorities if needed. You can also run a conveyor directly into another one and it will load into the other one if there is room for something on the belt.

You know Now I think about this, you can use a container as a splitter/merger and with filter loaders you can make them smart Splitter/merger

Yes, logistic containers work as a multi-way balancer. I spent ages the other day figuring out how to build a 4-way balancer, then realised I could just dump everything into a container and pull it back out the other side. Plus you can do any number of input belts to any number of output belts without having to think about anything other than the total amounts going in/out.
