Logged in Paradox Account

I just got the game, and I never signed up for a Paradox Account because I don't want "personalized marketing," as they put it in the Paradox Launcher. When I start the game, it says I'm logged in on the Foundry main page. Would this be a bug, or are they leaching data from my PC?

You have a steam account. It very well could have been steam that shared info. You don't have to have a paradox account to play. At least as far as I know. Just your steam.

You can block internet access to Paradox if you want to.

Its just a pop up that lets you continue your last save, nothing forces you to log into anything to play.

You probably played a Paradox game ages ago and already linked your Steam account.

That resume button is great and should be on the in-game main menu, too.
