Fluid transport at long range? Need Fluid Transporter!
Does anyone have a solution for transporting liquids over long distances?
This is almost impossible with Pipes over more than 500 meters...

Why do you see that as impossible?. I have 2 km long pipes. They are doing just fine.
It is recommended to place a pump at the source.

Fluid Cargo ship is needed, but I have pipes longer than 1 km and have had no issues. It's just a lot of work.

can't say I've had an issue with a pipe going 2km.... annoying to run the pipe? yes, it is.
We do need a Fluid Transport, and maybe a Packager though.
are you using the pumps along the pipes? Not sure it makes a difference but it makes sense that the water loses energy while its travelling. placing pumps regularly should help
One pump at the source is enough.
You can also do it without any pump.

But I discovered that the source has sometimes problems and shuts down production if it's connected pipe isn't half way empty therefore the pump is to make sure the spource sees mosly an empty pipe and is in full operation mode.

The fluid in the pipes in this game doesn't seem to be affected by gravity. So without pumps it is like haveing one massive big pipline fluid storage. But the fluid goes for and backward and it takes a time till it balances out.
oil is a hassle, it should just be infinite and you use a fracking station to increase the wellheads output... i've 5km of pipe, pumps only seem to block backflow, and every time i add a well it doesn't work right for awhile, because each pipe holds like 500 fluid and it seems to bounce in the segments and it will pull from one well more then another so you got network chaos for awhile.. i don't look forward to having to deal with a "pressure mechanic"

Just so you know a "Pressure Mechanic" in the sense it's used in these game just means something to make you want to progress quicker, to pressure you.... it doesn't have anything to do with pipes and fluid.
What you are talking about is more fleshed out fluid dynamics.

That's why on a long pipeline you should install pumps at regular intervals - to prevent excessive backflow.

The new dev blog says they are adding cargo ships for liquids, Yay!
