if they add a over the top isometric view from a birds eye i would buy in a heart beat
It doesn't mean all those cases are unsolvable, but we don't have the resources to slow down development to make most features work with two very different camera perspectives. Maybe we revisit it once the game is closer to 1.0, but as for now it is not planned.
overhead vertical view doesn't make sense in a 3D game
As it stands I make heavy use of a feature I thought initially was next to worthless but I now consider absolutely essential. Specifically, I make heavy use of signs.
