Command-Line input Options

i'm at a loss as to how to issue a command that I'd use in 'command line' for automation.

As an example, i would want to basically execute what is effectively a 'kill' button for MS Edge.

I would hope to not have to resort to a 'bat' file, but I am hopeful as I am basically even able to route out starting some 'MS Store' apps, and I would honestly like a way to get access to command-line. I am not sure how to slot it into a widget.

I am working on a set for windows 10, & arranging some options, & am confused of how it does some things.

Like 'CloseMonitor' as a launch path, working to lock the screen on the desktop when I can't seem to replicate it else where on the system, while I am able to use both file & URL paths to launch programs.
