Laggy Animations

basically I have a high end PC, but the currently avaiable widgets are quite laggy (not smooth) , as a gamer, this stops me from using the program because i dont enjoy the animations. This is definetly a software problem. I do believe this is possible to fix quite easy, if the developer would want to. Smoother animations is a must have on a platform like steam, where gaming is the main focus. So, any fix soon?
