Issue with Workers Not Returning to Work After Setup Changes in Car Manufacture
I've encountered a recurring issue in the game Car Manufacture that I wanted to bring to the community's attention. Whenever I initiate a new car build and notify the factory by ordering the necessary parts, the workers seem to head to the break room and never return to their stations. This leads to a complete halt in production, and eventually, the game runs out of funds.

This problem has happened several times now, and it's making it challenging to progress in the game. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, are there any solutions or workarounds? I'd appreciate any advice or insights!

By workers, you mean mechanics or transporters? If transporters, then that's the similar to my issue (will be posting a separate thread about it).
If mechanics, then maybe you haven't reassigned them to the assembly line? I noticed that that number goes back to 0 every time a line is changed or so.
It could also be that they are waiting for a part in the assembly line to be delivered to the storage.

Yes, I'm referring to mechanics or robot arms. The parts are available, and the mechanics or robots are correctly assigned. Unfortunately, I've had to resort to using only robot arms. When they stop working, I destroy the station, rebuild it, and reorder the parts. This usually fixes the issue until I introduce new plans to the line, at which point the problem starts all over again. Sometimes it's just one station that needs to be replaced, but other times, the entire line has to be reworked for the assembly process to resume correctly.
I think I may have figured out the issue. It turns out that the storage or the robot arm storage becomes full from parts of past models that are no longer in production. These parts need to be sold off to make room for the new ones. When the storage is full, some parts are ordered, but others aren’t because there’s no more space. This seems to be the reason why the assembly line halts and the mechanics or robots stop working. Once I cleared out the old parts, the line started functioning correctly again.

yeah theres no warning for that. you need to flush your storage and bots of old parts before starting new

sell all unused parts from your storage and start the production (play button).

I stop production of the previous model and that causes the parts shelves to be empty before the next model.

The best way I found to fix this issue is to delete the robotic arm after deleting the last model. Place a new arm (losing $2000 in the process) and then assign a new model to the line. Set your orders, and it begins working once supplies arrive.
