Can I build different car models on an assembly line because I always see in a lot of videos that you always have to build a new line for each model, which I find completely illogical with so many different models

Each assembly line can build only one model

I can't think of a single car manufacture that assembles different models on the same production line. Unless a car shares the same parts/platform but even then.

I would imagine, in time, you'd be able to have different engine types and perhaps merge lines into the paint/quality line.

How do almost every car manufacturer run several models on one line because many cars these days are built on one construction platform. For example, we build 4 different car variants on one line, including two different brands VW and Cubra. In the other line there are also 4 models, including Audi and VW, so it has now been possible to build several variants on one line for a long time. Secondly, look at the product line in the game and don't forget it's a game if you have 60 different variants in the game, I don't build 60 lines to be able to build every model. The developer really needs to improve this. Ps yes, I would like to build and see every car and not just briefly.
