There is some discussion going on in there about storage with robots.
Step one: Clear line
Step two: Add new model
Step three: Setup production on what each assemnly station needs to do.
Step four: Add storage containers
Step five: Add robot storage
Step six: Turn on. (can be done anytime, just dont forget)
Check when you replace main building. Workers will need reassigment.
didnt worked for me, but maybe im to dumb to set it up xD
I think what you do is set an order for the robots storage then set the order for the normal storage and your transporters will move the parts from the storage to the robot.
Just a guess I havent actually done this.
**Edit**
Nevermind... You cant even place an order so this does not work. Once you get to robots it appears that standard storage is of no use.
My problem is that I dont know how to do this. The robots just get it from the train/boat directly and not from a shared storage, so I got like an endless stream of people just walking directly to my robots...
My biggest problem used to get enough parts, but with many stations and many robots that resolved itself...
Edit: Yeh, so I dont think this can be resolved with current patch... Been asking around on forums and discord, but no answer/help to get so I guess it is what it is....
