Game is not starting!

This gameexe is not working. Even after reinstall. It happens nothing after start.

this game is 32 bit (aka cpu processor bit) if yours is not compatible with that then it wouldn't work... and i have windows 7 and it works just fine for me of course this game is built for win 98 or win xp so and win 7 has those os's compatibility built in and dude i don't have 32 gb of ram how do you have so much i have like 8 gb of ram and a hdd with 931 gb storage space it was soppoesed to be a terrabyte but it had bad sectors anyways and i have a intel graphics card i5 quad core 5k something for the model but anyways that is what i have and it works oh and this game needs direct x like 6 with direct 3d and direct draw compatibilities so try any of these if it still doesn't work then i don't know what your pc's problem is with this game...

I tried every compatibility setting, and the game stayed open for the longest in WinXP mode. (Not that the game stayed open for very long! Both WinXP SP1 and SP2 had the same effect.)

Are there any other settings I can try?

Edit: Disregard my question. I gave the greenlight for the friend who gifted me Moon Tycoon to refund the game.

well i've heard of it but i don't have win10 but you could try the windows xp virtual os which is different then the compatability mode as it's a os running in a os... and if you don't have
old 32bit or x86 computer then compatibility mode means nothing... and you did not mention whether you have 32bit 64bit x86-64bit or 256bit pc which is important to game compatability, anyways this comment is for others if they encounter this issue as you already decided to refund the game... but i cannot gurentee anything working as again i don't have win10 i have win7... this will be my last comment on this as if this doesn't work i can't think of anything else...

64 bit/32 bit isn't the problem. The issue seems to be related to p.wav not being the length Moon Tycoon expects, the file is probably sitting corrupted on Steam's servers.

@Lilithvia same issue occurs with the CD Rom version that I own, so I think it is a Windows 11 issue of some kind. I had no issue on my old Windows 10 OS.
