Gal*gun 2 was originally a ps4 game, but they added VR to the steam release. It's not unheard of to add it in later.
Gal Gun VR released specifically for the PC and was the obvious building block for Gal Gun 2 -- a game originally designed for VR. It is clear that Sony was not happy with the idea of such a game on their VR system.We know this due to what happened with Happy Manager, another VR game that had to be altered last minute to a non-VR game because Sony wasn't pleased with its content. So you can't really use Gal Gun 2 as an example in this case.
More so when VR implementation in Peach Beach Splash was... lacking to say the least.
