But game IS extremely easy if you are willing to spam the cheese skills indeed... or actually equip armor(I used a tier 1 armor throughout whole game to make it feel at least slightly fun, just rolled matk % on both slots for faster kills)
But yeah, basically to summ up my 20 hours in the game + my fast post game boss rush attempt in a few sentences:
1) Start with rei, play a bit, reach tornado - only spam tornado and basic attacks from now on. Reach lvl 30 and you get a tornado 2.0. At lvl 40 you get a decent physical skill, but tornado 2.0 is better in most scenarios.
2) Swap to mage girl once she gets her beam skill - only use beam skill until 3x beam skill, then use that.
THE END.
Honestly - the worst thing is not the repetition of this, but the fact that while getting armor to make sure you take nearly 0 damage from multi hit attacks and negligible damage from other attacks is extremely easy(until end game - all characters can equip all armor, hence it's easy to find an overpowered piece of armor and upgrade it, you don't even need slots to take nearly 0 damage from stuff)
But getting weapon is extreme RNJesus. I think my gameplay would have been 1-2 hours shorter if I got a tier 2 weapon for Rei before actually finishing tier 2
Since weapons you get can be for any of the girls - if all your weapons end up being fists or mage weapons(early on she sucks as much as kokoro) then you are literally fked by rnjesus and have to grind enemies who can't strike back nearly twice as long.
When you get past chapter 3 the combat gets a way better in my opinion, especially once you get all the 4 girls on your party for variety. Kokoro feels weaker than the rest and I only use her occasionally for her ranged confuse which roots enemies.
