Ability Rate need a buff

The last time i played Eternium was few years ago in college and i remember inveting in ability rate actualy useful.

I came back to the game as a new character(after forgetting a loging and password DUH) and after getting to level 70 and getting AR on ALL of my gear i got a whooping 35% cdr.
This makes AR a dump stat like life regen, i switched back to my power/haste equipment my clear speed and boss killing speed went up by about 50%.

What happened? Why did it cooldown reduction get such a nerf? Autoattack was always boring and now we get shoehorned into doing it more, why?
