Report a translation problem
The main use of this card is to expend a card in the deck (making your deck leaner in long battles, whereas Exhume and Discipline take an expended card back to let you use it again). However, we agree that the AP cost is too high and will adjust it downwards.
But for 8 total AP Relinquish+Discipline combo is not usable. Even if your ally is going to die, resurrestion spell costs less! As for thinning deck, Relinquish is mostly useless. How many times can you cast this spell in battle. Once? Twice? Removing two cards from deck does not make it much thinner.
However, i see another interesting option - make Relinquish work not on allies but on enemies! 7 AP for removing nastiest atack from boss enemy is justified cost.
