Don't feel too bad, there are 84 combinations of 3 hero parties so it can take quite a while to try them ;)

It would feel more like a classic d&d party with 4 heroes but I think there are more important things to work on.

I like the idea that the number of party members could be changed to change the difficulty of the game, or more realistically to influence the rewards. So if a player chose 4 then it would reduce rewards. 2 would really make things more difficult but would increase rewards for quests or individual battles, and 1 deserves a really great Xmas. XD

I know it isn't necessary. I am happy with it as it is personally, but it would be nice to offer the option for those who felt they wanted to play with 4+ It would also offer further ways to play through and extend the life of the game for many.

I think you can play with 1-2 heroes in both realm and campaign modes. Sometimes I lose 2 heroes in realm boss fights and still continue playing.

You can't have more than 3 party members due to the size of the battlefield grid. However, Jendaya would be the exception as she adds her Golem, Rocky!

I'm not really promoting 4 heroes as I'm fine with 3 but the battlefield could always be a minimum 3 or even 4 lanes. Sometimes there's a ton enemies over there, but I can see the issue with space when you add summons, rocks, traps, etc. Would make it interesting though, and possibly open up more synergies.

What I'd like to see is a mode where you can have 3 of the same; i.e. 3 Pierre, 3 Catherin, etc.

Hey, if I can find clones of my party members also hanging around in Exploration nodes ... :)

I honestly wish there were more lanes, but I begrudgingly realize that would break the game's action economy and make mass pets OP as heck.

I reassure you, i aware about battlefield grid and games action economies, but like x-com series, i dreaming about a workshop-dlc that unblock the numbers of heroes... at 4 or maybe 5... It's ok if this worshop-dlc don't unblock achievements: it's just for "MY" fun.

Yeah, you can if you start a raid, collect a bunch of heroes, interact with a merchant, then go back to the menu and load your save state ^^

Okay yes it can be, but you have to summon the extra characters with your cards.

Is there any possibility to expand the grid for more chars ? Thanks for the anwser, can't stop playing since then haha
