I know it isn't necessary. I am happy with it as it is personally, but it would be nice to offer the option for those who felt they wanted to play with 4+ It would also offer further ways to play through and extend the life of the game for many.
What I'd like to see is a mode where you can have 3 of the same; i.e. 3 Pierre, 3 Catherin, etc.
Hey, if I can find clones of my party members also hanging around in Exploration nodes ... :)
