Creepy?

Perhaps - the game is about the recovery from serious trauma, both physical and mental, from the perspective of the trauma victim. That alone probably is a rather uncomfortable topic for most of us.

It's been a considerable amount of time since I last played it but it did give off a really "creepy" atmosphere at times. I think this is owed largely to Martin Straka's music, which incorporates a lot of shifting mellow tones and ambient noises along with ominous low notes. It gives the game a very distinct and memorable vibe.
