Creating a shield

For some odd reason you are not able to make a shield?

Any ideas?

could you elaborate? which shield are you trying to make?
Which rim?
Are you making a boss for it?
separate wrist and hand enarmes?
what part is not working?

hmmm... after I responded to you here last time, before you responded back, I made a new save where i made a tower, round, and heater 5 shield, and they all worked out... so I dunno what's going on

What version are you on? Steam I assume since you're posting here?
What metal are you using for the rim? are the parts cooled? is the workbench clear and not overlapped by anything?

i was using heater 1 and a round rim and board. (separate attempts)

i was using copper of the rim, boss, wrist and hand grip and i was using oak of the board

all cooled (except the board) and all assembled without anything else on the workbench.

hmmm... well rounds only got one board and rim... so that should have assembled fine.
I'lll hop onto another save and try heater 1 again haven't tried them since 0.1.2L
Yeah.. Heater 1 works fine for me too, still....

If you hop on the discord you could try sending me your save, I can use it to determine whether its something broken in the save or something going wrong on your side

recall a different issue with making shields... they wouldn't accept it. not sure why. made and assembled everything and it wasn't to their liking apparently, same with pole arm. made different blades for it and none were accepted. made boss and rim 1 for heater shield 1 and wrist and hand grips and assembled that too, neither were good. not sure why, thought the issue would be similar to mine, but from what i gather it may not be...
