Game controls?

When I've started a game, the only thing I can do is open the backlog and progress the text.

But how can I...

1.) Save a game? (I saw Z in the control setup, but that doesn't do anything)
2.) Load a game? (Doesn't seem to exist at all)
3.) Leave the game? (Currently, I have to kill the process via task manager because there's neither a menu nor a key for it)
4.) Open the options? (Currently, I have to restart the game so I can get to the main menu)

Also checked for a manual, but that also doesn't seem to exist. The game looks and sounds very nice, but it's hard to appreciate, if even the most basic controls are missing.

I'm at a loss as well here. I had the option to 'save and exit' and did so. Back in main menu I can only start a new game? Very confusing
Hmmm.... it seems the Z key will save the game after you got instructions you are able to save the game.

did you ever figure this out? I just bought the game and can't find any menu either.

I think you have to finish the prologue section first to get all the controls.
