What about co-op?

I think I saw a co-op option at the menu on one of the official videos, but the steam tags only have "singleplayer". So, will there be a co-op mode?

There's a very limit couch co-op mode that involves you and a friend taking turns tagging in and out of combat. It's a mechanic that you've probably come across in other fighting games. The active player fights and the resting player regenerates health. This co-op mode can only be played in a special Survival Mode. We've ramped the difficulty of this survival mode greatly to make it so that players are in need of healing often. It's an extremely limited experience and we didn't want to promote it on the game's main page because of that. We wanted consumers to purchase OFDP2 on its single player merits alone. The single-player experience should have enough value on its own to justify the price of the game. Please consider the co-op purely bonus material.

Please note that the co-op mode is not included in the demo. The co-op mode should work with any combination of controllers the game supports (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, Nintendo Switch controllers and or mouse/keyboard)
