Mouse Over Things Like Damage Type, Attributes, etc

Is there an option to get a tooltip to display that lets you know what all of the symbols on all of your weapons, character, armor, etc mean? The codex doesn't have definitions for some of these symbols as far as I can tell and I don't know what they mean

There are four types of damage in the game: ballistic, digital, fire and energy. Each opponent is vulnerable to a different type of damage. For example, humans are best affected by ballistic damage and robots receive the most damage from energy. Check the weapon's damage type in your inventory.

I wasn't specifically talking about damage type, that was just an example of an icon. I noticed in looking at a weapon's profile, the bottom 2 icons, the one that looks like an arrow pushing into a series of vertical lines and the one above it that I can't remember right now, aren't explained in the codex and there doesn't seem to be a tooltip in this game for some reason. There are several other icons that are similarly not explained anywhere in the game as far as I can tell
