Alienation 2.0?

I absolutely loved Alienation on the PS4 by Housemarque, and have been waiting for a spiritual successor to come to PC for so long. This looks very promising! Not sure if this game was inspired at all by that title, but if it was, we are all in for something special. Good luck devs!

If anything is more probably that helldivers did it, still the twin stick shooter/arpg did exist from long, like red solstice, alien shooter or alien swarm

I wish Housemarque had ported its PS4/other Sony console games like Resogun to Steam but they never did. I believe -- like Helldivers dev Arrowhead -- they went 3rd person, though its PS5 game Returnal is already out.

I agree with you. For some reason Alienation in particular really clicked with me, it just checked all the right boxes to make a game that I loved and replayed constantly.
