why are there no digital weapons?

ive done ALL the side missions. only digital weapon is the bitsplit. a DLC weapon.

Probably to give the augmentation I/O Converter a purpose.

Digital damage is hugely powerful, and would easily be too much if not limited to the special "thanks yall" shotty and the IO convert.

The reason it's on Bitsplit is probably to encourage you to stop hiding behind cover and get into the action, like in DOOM where 'Glory Kills' will always drop health pickups, but in order to get them you have to stun and melee an enemy.

Good question, it's crazy that a pre-order weapon is so powerful(without requiring you to have the I/O Converter equipped). I still haven't gotten mine despite having had the game on Steam for 2 weeks now. It is functional game content so all players should own it. Hopefully in the future they will give it to all players, otherwise it could also turn some people away - having an incomplete game.

To be real, a pre-order weapon should never be a top tier weapon. I don't think the gun should have been a pre-order exclusive either. The discount was already enough.

At most, they should have given an exclusive aesthetic option, but given the amount of bugs with those in the game, I can see why they may have not gone with that.

Keep in mind that these are my thoughts as someone who has the Bitsplit.
