KB+Mouse or Controller?

Just out out of curiosity, what is everyone using, KB+Mouse or Controller?
Have you tried both for The Ascent, any preference?

I am really split for this type of game between 'better aim' vs 'better movement'.

I'm playing with a controller and while the movement is fluid and feels nice, shooting is a bit clunky and takes a bit of practice to get the hang of, especially since you need to use both the analogs for aiming.
With medium aim assist I'm basically shooting at the general direction and hope the assist takes care of the rest.
Thinking about switching to m+k

I'm playing M&K and shooting is intuitive but movement takes some getting used to, Once you are used to it though, it's natural-ish (although I would expect controller to be more fluid).

I definitely survive better/ longer with KB+M.
would be nice to use both. joystick/ flight stick for movement. multi button mouse for aim/shoot/skills. ;)
currently controller seems to overwrite keyboard.

Just for anyone coming by here, this game is unplayable with controller, since sensitivty for aiming IS HUGE, it's 1:1 with your joystic and zoom out is too big which makes it your aim going huge distance when u make slight movement with right joystic

Aiming with controller is fine on Steam Deck, but I'm sure mouse on PC is best.

I only play using controller. Perhaps try messing with the controller settings

I tried game pad and it was terrible. K-M much better. Imho, of course.

Mouse and Keyboard all the way

Will give it a try with a movemaster for movement and swiftpoint z2 for shooting and stuff.
