Keybaord and Controller in Coop

How does couch coop work then? If you can't put controllers on you cant have multiple keyboard and mouses?

You just need a controller for each player.

M/KB can't be used in local co-op.

Doesnt work for me, 2 controllers plugged in have to start the game with a keyboard and mouse then it just doesnt recognise controllers lol

Which controller are you using?

If you go to Steam settings, controller tab, and open the general configuration, there'll be checkboxes that basically improve the controller support for most games. Give that a try, then launch the game.

Just fixed it mate, turned out it doesn't like ps4 controllers but xbox ones worked fine

Most PC games since around 2011 only support nativelly X-input controllers, from Xbox 360 and onwards. but not D-input controller.

But doing that thing I said about steam controller configuration, steam can basically sort of emulate a Xbox controller with any controller, so compatibility goes pretty high when enabling that.

Every Game nowadays supports Keyboard and Controller, e.g. It takes Two, Cuphead and so on... the devs were to busy to upload a raytracing beta with a lot of stutter and bugs in it.
