inaccessible loot chest in RBM-5 / power distribution

eastern chest showing up on map. locked behind a force field that cant be hacked. after clearing the level and searching for a way to access, i ultimately gave up.

i suspect the forcefield was supposed to be unlockable by hacking. i might have missed the way in, but the level design leaves little room for any other access then through the inaccessible power field.

Chest remains remains inaccessible even after completing the game. It was at least reachable during the Mission itself but even with the appropriate level of ICE it just kept saying "Failed" and never unlocked.

Opened every other chest but this one. =(

All chests should be collectable down there. I have picked them all up myself. Seems like some sort of bug on your end will be most likely. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it takes a specific path to get there. I'd be willing to help you out sometime.

Same here I think maybe I had access to the area before but because I didnt get it then I am locked out forever.. bummer

Bit late to the party but this just happened to me on my third run. I thought I would clarify what should happen and how to fix it.

The chest is behind a door that only opens from the other side. The only other route in has a large vehicle looking item blocking the passage. When you perform the bypass on the terminal south east of the chest the vehicle is meant to clear itself. I don't recall if it just disappears, blows up when you go back or can be destroyed by the player. But it does get removed.

When it happened to me today. I tried quitting to the menu but that did nothing. So i fully completed the main mission Empowerment and quit the game. When I went back in I could access the chest. So you either need to fully reboot the game, complete the mission or both to remove the block.

On my 1st run through RMB-5 I thought it was inaccessible as well to get the chest.

Take a another look at the map more closely. There's a corridor you guys are all missing to walk down that leads to a two-way intersection.
To the left is the 'door' that won't open that we've all been on the other side of. To the right you'll run into 5/6 crates blocking the path before entering the landing where the ICE chest is w/ another two crates.

NOTE: finding this chest earlier in game usually grants an Aug you may not already have. later it may just be a dupe or Ucreds

Thank you so much. I was about tho restart the game just to get that stupid chest.
To anyone wandering, you have to complete the mission, then quit to desktop and walk back to the where the cart was blocking the way. The passage will be clear with a robot shooting at you.
