Press O map?

Hey, in the tutorial codex list, it says that by pressing O you can see a waypoint to your quest and if you're standing still a map will appear. For me the map doesn't appear, only the way point, my character name and the distance from the quest location.
Is anyone else getting a map? I know there's the main one by pressing M, but I was thinking of having something like in most ActionRPGs like Diablo you can have a smaller onscreen map.

I don't think you're supposed to get the map. You get the map by bringin up the map. Press O to lead the way (there should be a glowing path to follow). An on-screen map isn't too useful anyway due to the way the terrain is laid out and the way the map is designed (doesn't show the winding paths).

The codex states that if you stand still you will get a map of your surroundings when pressing O.

Found that the key binding "Mission HUD" was set to "x" rather than "o". Hitting "x" shows the path, and, of course, you can remap this how you like.

No minimap. Was confused at first, but I forget not everyone plays this game with a controller. Tried playing with mouse and keyboard, but it's just so much easier to play with a controller.
