Keyboard WASD - Character doesn't move in a straight line

Is there a way to change the movement of the character so that W is always forward? It seems that depending on the way the character is facing, you need to press different keys. So, say I am facing back, the "W" key will move me back (as if I am walking backwards) and the "S" key will move me forward (in the correct direction). Also, I have to press the "W" and "A or "D" key so that is move straight. Is this normal and is there a way to change it? Thanks! I feel it is vert awkward... other than that, the first 1 hour has been pretty cool!

Think the keys are bound to whatever the camera angle is. Takes a bit to get used to.

Yes, it's normal and pretty much how all twin stick shooters play. I tried playing Brigador the way you are asking and it felt so damn awkward.

Yea, I got used to it. Very odd in the beginning.
